Surgical Technology Students Excel in Outreach
Members of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»’s Surgical Technology class recently attended the North Carolina Association of Surgical Technologists meeting at Duke Regional Medical Center in Durham. The students took part in a hands-on workshop and were able to see how the NCAST business meetings are held. The community outreach project for this meeting was the Ronald McDonald House, and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students answered the call with a generous number of donations. In addition, Program Chair Suzi Shippen-Wagner was voted onto the State Board of Directors to serve a two-year term. Way to go, Surg Tech!
