Some 麻豆传媒映画 students are getting substantial assistance thanks to UNC Health Nash. Seven 麻豆传媒映画 nursing students have officially been accepted into the UNC Health Nash Nurse Scholars Program. According to the hospital鈥檚 website, the program funds the cost of each student鈥檚 education, tuition and books. A monthly stipend is also provided for high-achieving students pursuing an associate鈥檚 degree in nursing.
“The Nurse Scholars Program is an invaluable resource for our nursing students,鈥 says Ami Denton, director of nursing programs at 麻豆传媒映画. 鈥淣ot only does this program help alleviate some of the financial needs that come with being a full-time student, but it also provides a sense of community between the students and UNC Health Nash. We greatly appreciate the partnership with UNC Health Nash and the many wonderful opportunities they offer our students.”
According to Denton, selected scholars are also guaranteed a preceptorship in their last semester. A preceptorship is a period when an experienced professional offers mentorship and guidance to participants. Denton says the program serves as support and a preparation resource for the National Council Licensure Examination, an exam that must be passed before aspiring nurses can become a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse.
